Welcome

Since I was a little girl, carrying home my first stray kitten wrapped in my sweater, animals have played a major role in my life. Sometimes I found them, and sometimes they found me. The photography bug stung me when I was 10 and no one has found a cure.
FARM LIVING IS THE LIFE FOR ME!
I live on a farm in Northeastern Pennsylvania with many furry beings. With six dogs, four cats, two horses and nine hens, this fluffy and feathered family inspires me daily and helps me to learn their language, quirks and habits, which makes for a most successful photographic experience for my clients.
NEVER STOP LEARNING
I have received my certification in Digital Photography through Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art and Planning. I have invested time in and out of classrooms, adding to my skill set. I spend a good deal of time each year in continuing education, specifically geared to pet photography and portrait work. I love to capture the real personalities of pets and their people. Through my ongoing Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Professional Photographers of Pennsylvania (PPAofPA) and Northeastern Pennsylvania Professional Photographers Association (NPPPA) courses, I have been trained by some of the best photographers in the industry.
I CARE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE!
As the owner of six dogs with different ideas about "Sit," you need give me no explanation about what your pet will and won't do (and there is no use kidding ourselves about what cats think about photographers). Whether on location or in studio, my goal is a fun session geared toward a happy animal. That's why we will talk before we schedule a photo session. I can learn more about you and your pet, and you can ask questions as needed. Learning more about you and your pet helps me design a unique experience for both of you.
STUDIO OR ON LOCATION!
My studio is located in Factoryville. The space is a wonderful outlet for creativity, and is designed to keep pets safe, happy, and relaxed as part of their (and your) experience. It also allows you to feel and touch end products, to see what your memories can become, whether a framed or metal print, a canvas, an album, an art block, thin wrap, or card sample, you will get to experience things up close, and not just see a catalogue item. The studio will be a comfortable place to sit and review your photos, make your selections, and decide how to best preserve your images. I am also available for off site photography at a location of your choice, and I have a wide array of good places to shoot great photos on my list.
I don't just photograph pets (although they are my specialty). I love to photograph children and families too! Senior photos, engagement photos and professional head shots are also a part of my services. AND, I can often be found taking candid photos at local public or private events on the weekends.
