I am playing "catch up" or "ketchup" today. I am way behind on the 52 Hearts project by about two weeks. That doesn't mean I haven't been capturing the images right along, I just haven't had time to sit down and write a blog post.
There are times when leaving an image out of focus makes a bit of a statement or gives an artsy feel to the photo. Of course you will always get those who will say, "that's out of focus," but in your heart and mind's eye you know exactly the point you are trying to make.

This photo just happened when I focused in on the second flower from the bottom and all of a sudden a bee flew in for a landing just as my finger hit the shutter button. So it wasn't a planned event. But I thought the bee had a rather cartoonesque quality and decided to keep the photo and process it with the blur.
