Project 52 - Week 13: Green

It's no secret that I wish it were Spring.  I know that the first day of Spring has come and gone, and that we are getting warmer weather this week, but I wish my yard was full of bright green grass instead of water from the snow melt and recent rains.

When this week's theme came up, I wasn't sure which way I would take it.  A nice green backdrop? A dog or cat with a green toy or piece of clothing? I decided none of these would work.  That green grass would not leave my head. 

So here it is in all it's glory, modeled by Tinker, the Border Collie.  Nice, lush green stuff.  No rain, no wet, no snow.  This is Tinker's constant expression when he is not bringing you a stick.  He is a happy dog who travels with my farrier from farm to farm.  He has many friends across Northeastern Pennsylvania, including our Border Collie, Piper.

This is an unprocessed photo that I edited this week to remind me how wonderful Spring can be.  I sometimes hold on to several photos from a session, keeping them in reserve to do at a later date.  This is one such photo.  Below is another, this time of a horse named Zeppelin, surrounded by the greenery of Spring.

I hope this brought some nice reminders of Spring to those of you who are experiencing the same type of rain and gloom weather holding pattern we have been experiencing over the last week.  Keep your chins up.  Green is on the way!
